£19.20£1,631.00

Coolclear Solar window film is a spectrally selective film. Spectrally selective window films are specially manufactured to block infrared rays without blocking natural light. • Stops up to 99% of harmful UV rays
  • Reduces solar heat by up to 57%
  • Virtually no tint
  • Allows up to 62% of visible light
  • Ideal for homes & businesses
  • Scratch resistant coating
  • Self-adhesive

Don’t forget to check the suitability before purchasing. Some films cannot be installed onto certain types of glazing.

Does this film help to keep the room warm in winter? We mainly need it for keeping cool in summer, but any extra insulation in winter would be beneficial! Alex Dobson asked on 11 January 2023

Any extra layers you add will help to some degree but it wouldn't be something that you would notice. For heat retention you would need a low-e coating. We have a film which does this as well as stopping solar heat, glare and UV which you'll find here https://www.evowrap.co.uk/product/silver-low-e-window-film. This has a darker tint than the Coolclear Solar though.

Does the coolclear film reduce sun glare? I need it for my office. Ella Jaczynska asked on 21 September 2022

It will reduce a small amount of glare but it’s designed to reduce the heat without blocking the light so if you are looking for glare reduction, then you would be better off going for a darker tinted film.
Ultra Vista will give the best glare reduction. If you wanted a lighter tinted film, then Something like a medium reflective silver or natural 20 would be a good option.

What is the appearance of the film on the outside? Is it mirrored or non reflective? Elizabeth asked on 7 August 2022

Its not mirrored. It adds a slight tint to the glass when looking at it from outside. I've added a couple of extra photos to the product page so you can see what it looks like from the outside.

Is the film applied on the inside or the outside of the window? Matthew Perkins asked on 25 July 2022

Hi Mathew, this film is installed internally. The only ones which are suitable for external use will be clearly marked. Theres not as much choice, the film is more expensive and the warranty is generally less on external films.
