HOW WE LIKE TO WORK

Whether you’re looking to reduce heat, glare or UV, create security, create one way vision or add privacy.  An Evowrap window film installation is the choice for you.  Below we will show you what the process looks like from start to finish. We try to make the process as easy to follow as possible. Our process is efficient and our aim is to make it as hassle free as possible for you.

MEASURE

The first step to window film installation is to measure your windows. We need the measurments of each pane of glass rather than the whole window size. We recommend measuring the each pane in centimetres. Round the measurement up to the nearest centimetre. Measure the width and the height and let us know how many of each pane there are. When we arrive we will measure the windows first prior to cutting the film. The easiest way to provide us with the measurements is to use our request a quote form.

GET QUOTE

Once we have received your measurements we will aim to provide you with a quotation within 1 working day. We will email the quotation to you. If you would prefer us to call you or post it to you then please let us know. We will send you a sample of the film (or films) that we have quoted for.

BOOK

Once your happy with the quote and you would like to book the work in it couldn’t be simpler. We take a 20% deposit. We can send an invoice for this to be paid online at your convenience. Or you can give us a call on 0333 355 3030. Once we have received the deposit we’ll give you a call and book in a convenient day and time. We normally work on a 2 to 4 week lead time. Sometimes in busy periods it can be considerably longer. If you’re job is urgent let us know and we’ll try our best to accommodate you.

INSTALL

On the day of the install you will be given a 1 hour time slot that the installers will aim to arrive in. 99% of the time we arrive in that time. The only time we would be late if if there is a traffic jam on the way in which case we would phone you to let you know. The installers will measure your windows first to make sure they are correct before cutting the film down. It’s a very clean job but we do use quite a bit of water during the installation. We ask that you move as much as is needed to allow the installers access to the windows. Anything that can’t be moved they will cover. There’s no chemicals or smelly substances so you can go about your normal day without any hassle. We take all the rubbish away with us leaving the property as we found it.

INSTALL

PAYMENT

Once the works completed and your happy with the installation then we take your final payment. The installers will have an invoice for the balance, minus the deposit that’s already been paid. You will be provided with the full VAT invoice, a copy of our checklist with any notes on and some cleaning and maintenance instructions. The installers will have a mobile payment termnial where you can pay by all major credit and debit cards. Unfortunately we no longer accept cheques. You can also pay by bank transfer but this needs to be paid the day beofre the installation date.

AFTER CARE

Once we’ve finished the installation it doesn’t stop there. If you have any problems then we are just on the other end of the phone. You’ll be provided with your warranty certificate. Most of our window films come with at least ten years warranty for total peace of mind. We very rarely have any problems after an installation. If there is a problem it will usually happen within the first few days. If there is a problem, we ask that you wait 30 days for the film to completely cure before contacting us. Very often small bubbles or an haziness will disappear as the film dries out over this 30 day curing period.
