Start with the problem you want to solve. Tint darkness alone does not tell you how much heat a film rejects or whether it provides privacy. Compare the film specification, appearance and suitability for your glass.

We can plan different treatments for different rooms. Conservatory roofs need a separate assessment of the glazing material, panel size and roof application.
HEAT CONTROL
How Window Tinting Helps Control Heat
Solar-control window film reflects and absorbs a proportion of incoming solar energy, reducing the amount entering through treated glazing. The result depends on the film, glass and conditions in the room.
Compare total solar energy rejection, glare reduction and visible light transmission together. UV rejection is a separate figure: a film with strong UV protection is not necessarily a strong heat-control film.

CARING FOR YOUR NEWLY-FITTED FILM
Looking after your newly fitted film

Let the film cure before cleaning. Our care guidance says to wait at least 30 days; follow the instructions supplied for your installation. Some haze or small moisture pockets can appear during curing. Do not scratch or pierce them, and contact us if you are concerned.

Specialist safety and security films help retain glass fragments if the pane breaks. The film, glass and installation system must be selected for the level of protection required.
