Can be installed to homes, conservatories, schools and commercial buildings.
Reflects heat before it enters the room. It’s excellent for rooms which become hot or uncomfortable during sunny spells.
- Heat reduction: Removes up to 80% of heat where internal installation isn’t possible
- Glare reduction: Reduces 74% of glare for improved visual comfort
- UV rejection: Blocks 99% of UV rays, keeping them outside
- Visible light transmission: 24% for effective shading
How the privacy works (what to expect)
External high reflective silver film also has the added benefit of creating daytime privacy by creating a one-way vision effect. The film allows you to see out whilst stopping people seeing in when installed under correct lighting conditions. For a true one-way vision effect you need one side of the glass to be at least three times brighter than the other side. This means that the film normally wont work on inner partitions or at night and you normally need to film all the windows in the room.
Choose external when internal isn’t possible
External silver reflective glass film is normally used when an internal installation isn’t possible due to access issues or because it’s the wrong glass type. Its perfect for installation onto windows, shopfronts, patio doors, offices and conservatory glazing.
For the best results the film should be installed to clean exterior glass. If you’re unsure if an external film is the right choice for you please check the glass compatibility. On our data sheet.
