Product Overview
About white frosted window film
White Frosted Window Film gives glass a clean matte white finish. It helps obscure direct views while allowing diffused daylight through, creating the appearance of frosted glass without replacing the panes.
What this means for you
- Frosted privacy – helps obscure direct views through the glass.
- Diffused daylight – softens incoming light while reducing the amount that passes through.
- Matte white finish – gives windows and partitions a clean, contemporary appearance.
- Interior application – fits to the inside surface of suitable glass.
Finish and setting
A simple way to soften suitable glazing in bathrooms, street-facing windows, offices, meeting rooms and clinics. Its white frosted finish adds privacy while still allowing daylight into the room.
What to expect from frosted privacy
Frosted film helps obscure direct views, but silhouettes may still be visible, particularly close to the glass or with strong backlighting. The appearance and degree of privacy depend on lighting and distance. Check a sample in your intended setting if privacy is critical.
Choose your roll size
Choose a width of 50 cm, 76 cm, 100 cm or 152 cm, and a length from 1 to 30 metres. The 152 cm width is available for UK delivery only.
Measure the width and height of each glass pane, excluding the frame. Choose enough film to cover each pane with a trimming margin. This listing supplies roll film, which you cut and trim to fit during installation. Check the available size options before ordering.
Fitting and aftercare
Apply to the inside of suitable glass. Check your glazing is compatible before fitting, and work on cool glass out of direct sunlight. Clean thoroughly, peel the liner, wet the glass and adhesive with the recommended slip solution, position the film, then squeegee from the centre out. Trim with a 1–2 mm edge gap unless the product-specific instructions state otherwise, then squeegee out excess water.
Wait 30 days before cleaning. Use a soft cloth and mild soapy water. The gallery graphic is an overview: read the full fitting guide before starting.
