How to clean window film before installation

So what’s the best way to clean the glass? The first step in the pre-installation cleaning process is to spray a specific cleaning solution onto the glass, ultimately covering the whole glass panel with a fine mist. The solution should be in a spray bottle and is made using a mix of approximately 1 teaspoon of Johnson's baby shampoo per pint of cold water.
After spraying you will then thoroughly clean every part of the glass using a glass scraper. You will want to ensure that you do not neglect the edges of the window and ensure they are given special attention. The edges are the most common place that people miss when cleaning their glass window. A non-abrasive scrubbing pad is another suitable tool you could use for cleaning the window.
Next, you will spray the window again before using the rubber squeegee to remove all traces of water from the glass. Then using a lint free cloth or microfiber towel, you need to dry around the edges of the glass. This is important so that contaminated water doesn’t drip down behind the film, which could result in a less successful installation process.
